Geneva International String Academy

Under the artistic direction of Sergey Ostrovsky and Noémie Bialobroda, an impressive selection of classical compositions will be performed, including Arnold Schönberg’s “Verklärte Nacht” in its original version for string sextet. The program also features Brahms’ Violin Sonata No. 1, Enesco’s Concertstück for viola and piano, Shostakovich’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor, and Debussy’s Sonata for Cello and Piano in D minor, providing a rich musical journey through these masters’ works.

The Solistes de Beyrouth, a renowned vocal ensemble from Lebanon, will perform a gala concert at Geneva’s Victoria Hall to support Caritas Lebanon. Led by Fernando Afara, with mezzo-soprano Carine Séchaye and organist Yves Lafargue, the program will feature works by Poulenc, Bizet, Mascagni, Verdi, as well as Lebanese music.

In Geneva for 5 weeks, the Cirque du Soleil’s Kurios transforms the stage into a fantastical steampunk world where a curious inventor’s imagination takes flight. Daring acrobats, contortionists, and whimsical characters bring his chaotic cabinet of curiosities to life in a poetic, high-energy spectacle that celebrates wonder and possibility.
