Celebrating its 43rd edition, AMR Festival gathers a constellation of jazz and improvised-music projects over five days, offering 27 concerts that range from big-band workshops and modern-jazz sessions to intimate improvised sets and family programming. On stage Pohlhammer and Adrien Barazzone form a combustible duo: she as the diva, he as her devoted companion. Julien Jaillot directs the actor work; Florence Minder collaborated on dramaturgy; Fernando de Miguel supplies music and sound while Pedro Saborido and Fernando de Miguel provide song texts. Aline Courvoisier designs costumes and Danielle Milovic and Loane Ruga the lighting. Coproduction: F.A.B Force Prod., Venedig Meer.

Conceived and directed by Ágnes Havas, this itinerant festival combines cycle-tourism with a rich musical programme. Concerts range from classical and baroque to opera and jazz, presented across lakeside stages that dialogue with the landscape. The project foregrounds sustainable cyclo-tourism and cross-border artistic cooperation, pairing performances with local gastronomy. Lighting and acoustic choices favour intimacy and clarity, while artists of international calibre create moments of contemplative lyricism, conviviality and sensory immersion around the rhythms of the lake.

But what is “reality”?
A forgotten cassette in a tape recorder becomes the key to a journey through time.
Two coworkers, Kurt and Willard, are plunged into the heart of an unprecedented psychiatric experiment where delirium and lucidity intertwine.

They must piece together a puzzle that will lead them to the very edge of madness. “Why are you so angry? …Because all of a sudden I was taking control of something? …Huh? Until now you were used to completely controlling the situation, and now this strangeness has crept into your life…”

Une Simple Histoire is a tender musical tribute to the late Michel Bühler, celebrating his songs, poetry and humanism. Directed by Roland Vouilloz, the staging brings together Sylvie Bourban (voice) and Jean-Philippe Zwahlen (guitar) in an intimate duet that traces Bühler’s storytelling and travels. The programme weaves folk-inflected arrangements and poetic narration to evoke memory, solidarity and the quiet truth of ordinary lives.

Presented in collaboration with Fonderie Kugler, Celebration gathers a new generation of creators across contemporary dance, visual arts and electronic music. Choreographic works include Anemoia — created by Milla Ansermet with Thalya Graf, Nora Gisler, Nora Gatti and Elise Gobet — and Dahlia, a solo by Juliette Kuster. Qigong teacher Kiara Lavanchy and DJ sets by Mé and AIEAIEAIE weave movement, improvised scores and electronic textures into a communal tapestry of memory and shared experience.
