“Tuning in – The Acoustics of Emotion” is an exhibition that delves into the connections between sound, voice, heritage, and humanitarian action. Utilizing sound archives and collections from the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the International Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, the exhibition explores which voices we preserve, their significance, and the role of music in humanitarian efforts. It features soundtracks, historical recordings, posters, photographs, prisoners’ objects, and artworks both historical and contemporary.

19 April – 27 June

The “Chrysalides” exhibition at the Children’s and Adolescents’ Center (HUG), in partnership with the Convergences Foundation, showcases the work of Italian artist Ilaria Sagaria. It delves into adolescence as a metamorphosis, blending poetry and psychology. Using the symbolism of the chrysalis, the exhibition illustrates the profound personal transformations that occur during this life stage.

15 May – 28 June

Geneva-based multidisciplinary artist Alexandre Bianchini delves into painting, collage, photography, video, and installation. As a co-founder of Forde, his works are marked by isolated elements set against bold color fields, challenging illusion and narrative. His pieces, both dense and enigmatic, question perception and present a layered visual language that invites reflection and doubt.

“Dancing with Ghosts” by Adriel Visoto delves into memory, presence, and the fleeting nature of time through paintings, drawings, and landscapes. The exhibition, characterized by a tension between presence and absence, features blurred figures and forms that suggest ephemeral yet enduring memories. Visoto’s meticulous technique crafts a subtle interplay between the visible and invisible, immersing viewers in a realm where external landscapes and internal memories merge.
