Hidden Treasures of Graphic Arts

Every first Thursday of the month, the MAH hosts pop-up events at GamMAH dedicated to graphic arts. Visitors are invited to explore prints, drawings, and rare books from Europe and beyond, guided by an art historian. This month, the focus is on Stanley William Hayter, the founder of Atelier 17 and a significant figure in 20th-century engraving. The MAH features several of his works and the matrix of his most famous piece, providing insight into his technique.

In his 2024 book, Angelo Dan delves into the restitution of French cultural assets taken during the conquest of the Kingdom of Dahomey. The Global Sustainability Flagship Conference brings together leading academics, policymakers, and practitioners to explore urgent questions at the intersection of climate, nature, peace, and conflict. Organized by the Hoffmann Centre for Global Sustainability with CEPR and ReCIPE, the conference features keynotes, panels, and research sessions on energy transition, biodiversity, corporate sustainability, and geopolitics of resources.

After briefly pursuing medical studies, Cédric Sapin-Defour became a physical education teacher. His powerful new book, Where the Stars Fall (Où les étoiles tombent, Stock, 2025), tells the moving story of the paragliding accident that changed his wife’s life—and her brave path to recovery.
