13th Edition of Net’Léman

Net’Léman returns for its 13th edition, bringing together residents, volunteers and local groups for two days of community activities, networking and collaborative projects. Everyone is welcome to participate, exchange ideas and contribute to shared initiatives that strengthen neighbourhood ties and stewardship of the lakeside environment. The event fosters connection, learning and practical engagement through workshops, informal meetups and collective action designed to bring people together across generations and backgrounds.

Discover a lively community market offering stalls of wine, cheese, bread, craft beer, honey, fine groceries, fresh vegetables, seasonal fruit and pastries. Local producers share their specialties in a friendly setting that encourages conversation and connection. Families, neighbours and visitors are invited to explore produce, chat with makers and enjoy weekly animations suited to all ages. The market celebrates local food traditions and fosters a welcoming space where everyone can meet, taste and support the community.

14 – 18 April

Watches and Wonders Geneva: The Montreux Jazz Club settles in Geneva for a temporary residency.

The spirit of the Montreux Jazz Festival takes over Geneva as part of the “In The City” program of the Watches and Wonders Geneva watch show. For five consecutive evenings, a pop-up Montreux Jazz Club will open its doors at Quai du Général-Guisan to offer a free, intimate, immersive musical experience.

18 April and 16 May

This workshop honours the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges through tango practice, combining cultural reflection with embodied learning. Participants explore tango as an improvised dance that develops concentration, body awareness, listening, and spatial perception. The session includes a beginners’ technique class followed by open practice, emphasizing connection, nonverbal communication, and improvisational decision-making. It examines how movement-based practice can foster creativity, attention and personal growth while engaging with Borges’s literary legacy.

Saturday 18 April, 15:00

Stroll beneath a cathedral of leaves, moving through tree-lined historic streets and an urban park where canopies dapple the path with shifting light. The walk invites close attention to bark, branching patterns and seasonal scents while local tree experts share natural history and surprising stories. The pace is gentle and social, favoring curious observation and shared discoveries. It’s a chance to reconnect with urban nature, learn to read the landscape, and appreciate the living heritage of the city.
