Watch six bodies lift, carry and fly in a circus built on trust. Without any apparatus, acrobats stack, swing and tumble together in close, rhythmic phrases. Bright movement, shared breaths and sudden laughter make the show feel alive. Children will be invited to notice balance, help with gestures and cheer, discovering teamwork, courage and how bodies answer one another. Sensory moments—soft music, warm light, quick flips—spark imagination and playful bravery.

Directed by Frédéric Cherboeuf and staged by Collectif L’Émeute, L’illusion comique reimagines Pierre Corneille’s classic through a hybrid language of theatre, filmic fragments, music and visual effects. The ensemble — including Adib Cheikhi, Matthieu Gambier, Jérémie Guilain, Lucile Jehel and others — navigates the porous border between reality and imagination. Oriane Trably’s lighting, Camille Riey’s sound design, Lucile Jehel’s costumes and Matthieu Gambier’s scenography shape shifting atmospheres, moving from intimacy to spectacle and revealing the play’s playful, melancholic heart.
