By the Tita8lou Company and performed by Jessica Arpin, Kalabazi tells the story of a young woman who uses an hour before leaving to find a husband through a theatrical love contest. Two audience volunteers face playful trials, punctuated by bicycle acrobatics and the heroine’s peculiar backwards speech. The piece blends circus, clowning and poetry, inviting intimacy and laughter while shifting through dialects and languages. Its itinerant life—over 800 performances across 28 countries—underscores an improvisatory, communal spirit.
Stroll into a storytelling journey inspired by “The Agglomerates.” Listen to lively tales that blend movement and poetry, then join a hands-on workshop to draw and create your own marks from the story. Feel the rhythm of spoken words, the scratch of pencils, and bright colors coming to life. The session invites children to slow down, imagine, move with the story, and make simple artworks that keep memory of the adventure.
