Dedicated to ceramics and glass, the Musée Ariana is situated in a majestic 19th-century building within a 4-hectare park near the United Nations. In addition to its permanent collection, the museum regularly curates temporary exhibitions, frequently featuring the work of contemporary artists. Musee Ariana provides guided tours and organizes workshops for children.
Benoît Billotte’s exhibition “Extra-nature” invites children aged 5 to 7 to explore a world of plant dyes and fabric prints. This sensory experience allows them to craft a textile universe inspired by Antônio Vasconcelos Lapa.

“Children’s Saturdays” invite young explorers to delve into the stained glass windows of the “Post Tenebras Lux” exhibition and uncover the mysterious coats of arms from the Middle Ages. Kids will observe colors, symbols, and shapes, and then imagine and create their very own family emblem. Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Embark on an adventure with Mathias, a young medieval apprentice, to uncover the secrets of stained glass through an engaging live story. After the exploration, children get the chance to create their own stained glass art. This workshop is designed for toddlers.

The Geneva section of the Touring Club Suisse is hosting a guided walk exploring the history of international Geneva, from the Ariana Museum to the botanical garden, including major international institutions along the way. This event highlights the historical and geopolitical evolution of Geneva’s role, concluding with a lakeside aperitif.
