Located in Plan-les-Ouates, La julienne is a cultural center dedicated to fostering cultural exchange and creativity. With a mission to enrich community, it hosts a wide array of events catering to diverse interests and ages, including art exhibitions, theatre perfomrances, concerts, workshops and community gatherings.
Created and performed by Charles, son of farmers and an actor, this documentary theatre piece brings the voices of those who feed us to the stage. Through collected testimonies and intimate staging, the production blends reportage and theatrical immersion to explore rural labour, attachment to the land and ethical questions around agriculture. The performance is deeply human, at times poignant and confronting, inviting reflection on care, sustenance and our relationship to the living.
