The concert Mediterráneo by Cappella Mediterranea offers a captivating journey through Spanish and Mediterranean music. This eclectic program highlights the poetic and musical works of Joan Manuel Serrat, a giant of Spanish song, seamlessly blending them with pieces from Spain’s Siglo de Oro (Golden Age).

The ensemble explores iconic Serrat songs like Mediterráneo and Aquellas pequeñas cosas, transformed into polyphonic madrigals and arranged for period instruments such as the viola da gamba, harpsichord, recorder, and guitar. It’s an invitation to rediscover these songs in a fresh light while celebrating Mediterranean cultural heritage.

Raíces (meaning “roots” in Spanish) is a musical collaboration born from the meeting of Mariana Flores’ clear soprano and Simon Ghraichy’s passionate piano, blending Latin American nostalgia with French elegance, past memories with present connections.

Since their first encounter in 2016, the Argentine soprano and French-Mexican pianist have merged their cultures through music. Their program explores French melodies by Poulenc, Satie, and Fauré, alongside Spanish and Latin American pieces by Obradors, Piazzolla, Guastavino, and Lecuona.

La Cité Bleue warmly welcomes Jakub Józef Orliński and pianist Michał Biel for a special concert dedicated to generosity and beauty. This recital supports the organization Innocence en Danger Suisse, which protects children from violence, with all ticket proceeds donated to the cause.

Renowned for their artistic excellence and human engagement, Orliński and Biel offer a rich program blending Baroque masterpieces, intimate pieces, and virtuosic passages. The concert is both a moving musical experience and a call for solidarity, making music a powerful act of commitment for those whose voices often go unheard.

What if bagpipes, binious, and bombardes were the perfect instruments to perform Philip Glass’s music? This bold and fascinating show takes that daring leap.

With 8 SONNEURS for Philip Glass, the iconic repertoire of the pioneering American minimalist composer gains a fresh dimension: four emblematic pieces from 1969 (Two Pages, Music in Fifths, Music in Contrary Motion, Music in Similar Motion) are reimagined by traditional Breton musicians.

The result? A striking sonic alchemy where rich timbres, the continuous drone of the bagpipes, and spatial sound transform the listening experience. Glass’s music becomes living, vibrant, almost hypnotic — proving that his spirit resonates just as powerfully through the drone of traditional instruments as through synthesizers.

At dawn, as night slowly gives way to day, La Cité Bleue invites you to experience a rare moment with two concerts called L’Heure Bleue, created by pianist and composer Alain Roche.

Playing piano as the sky softly brightens—neither fully night nor day—this delicate moment becomes the perfect setting for music that listens to silence rather than imposes itself. It’s a gentle, immersive, almost meditative experience where music blends with the passage of time.

R.ONDE.S by Pierre Rigal transforms the ancient circular dance into a contemporary, immersive performance blending ritual, electronic music, and choreography. Born from a student workshop, the piece explores the symbolic power of the circle—a space of equality, shared energy, and collective resonance.

Inside a circular setup, eight dancers and two musicians (Gwenaël Drapeau and Mélanie Chartreux) create a hypnotic trance using acoustic sounds and electronic loops. Gentle, mobile lighting enhances this evolving space of communal celebration.
