They reimagine the fate of Emma Bovary, highlighting provincial ennui and marital dramas with wit and tenderness. This lively and intelligent performance breathes new life into a frequently misunderstood classic, demonstrating its ongoing relevance. The staging combines improvisation, voiceover, and absurd humor to engage the audience from start to finish. Written and performed by Broquet and Pouvreau, with direction by Edward Decesari.

Two kitchen assistants, who are also musicians and opera enthusiasts, turn their cooking utensils into instruments to playfully reimagine melodies by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Rossini, and Bizet in rap, techno, or world music styles. This 45-minute show, designed for children, is a creation by Compagnie Minute Papillon, blending lyrical tradition with contemporary creativity. The production is supported by various festivals and cultural institutions.
