Open to all ages, it spotlights a youth under‑18 category and offers initiation classes from age four to introduce fundamentals of hip‑hop, break and all‑styles. The programme blends competitive heat, live DJ sets and collaborative jams, creating a lively, community-driven atmosphere that celebrates both excellence and grassroots creativity.

Festival de la Bâtie – Other Speaking Cave

Vocalist Nina Baietta and electronic artist Serøja Leonov create Other Speaking Cave, a hybrid performance that blurs organic voice and mirrored electronics. Between guttural vocal textures and shifting electronic mirages, the piece unfolds as an archaeological imagining of the future where the biological meets the machine. In a dim, cavernous mise-en-scène pierced by neon, light behaves like a living organism that pulses and reacts to sound. Created for Festival de la Bâtie 2026 in coproduction with a Geneva partner.

Festival de la Bâtie – How Romantic

Choreographer Katerina Andreou stages a raw, physical dance work that propels fourteen performers from the Norwegian company Carte Blanche into an endurance-like marathon. Drawing on the dance marathons of the Great Depression, the piece explores desire, fatigue, power and the human need for connection as bodies cling, push and exhaust themselves within a hypnotic pulse. Between collective trance, biting irony and uncontrollable vitality, the choreography stages the tension between chaos and control and our fascination with performance and intimacy.

Three performers plunge into the ideas of Mark Fisher to question why imagining different futures has become so difficult. On stage, electronic music, rap, projected texts like slogans, militant karaoke and a miniature dancefloor collide. Each performer circulates with an alter ego — a kitsch, radical, excessive version of themselves — as identities slip, overlap and are improvised live. Produced by Superprod in coproduction with La Bâtie and TO!.

Choreographer Soa Ratsifandrihana and singer-performer Bonnie Banane form a striking duo in this hybrid performance that blends dance, music and live art. Performed on moving treadmills, the piece counters bodily numbness and image saturation with movement, play, metamorphosis and wry humour. Identities shift, roles blur and voices intertwine, producing a poetic pop energy and robust choreographic force. Vulnerability becomes a resource that rekindles imagination and collective feeling.
