These open-air reading sessions turn a lawn into a relaxed communal reading room, with moments of shared silence, soft laughter and occasional activities like book picnics and children’s play sessions. Calm and accessible to all ages and fitness levels, the setting invites slow rhythms, easy company and a quiet reconnection with nature through reading.

9 July – 13 August

Gather under shady trees for short, lively readings and quiet book browsing. Children listen to stories read aloud with expressive voices and gentle rhythms, see colorful scenes, and imagine characters moving and talking. Little ones can choose a single tale or stay for many, turning pages and whispering discoveries. The sounds of pages, birdsong, and soft laughter make reading feel like a calm outdoor adventure that sparks curiosity and language.

Every Thursday between 9 July and 13 August, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Promenade du Pin!

Balades Théâtralisées invites audiences on an outdoor theatrical promenade that uncovers hidden city histories through staged scenes in natural settings. The troupe blends guided narration with short dramatic tableaux, favouring emotional resonance over strict historical reenactment. Soundscapes and simple lighting sculpt nocturnal and intimate atmospheres, while performers shift between storytelling and embodiment. The route alternates between the company’s traditional itinerary and a new underground-themed walk, creating a layered experience of memory, surprise and communal discovery.

End the summer by the shore of Western Europe’s largest lake and discover the lake’s twilight life. As dusk falls the reed beds still shelter nesting birds while early migrants arrive. Stroll into the soft evening light to observe underwater meadows and the heightened activity of fish. This immersive outing blends gentle observation and sensory discovery, offering a chance to connect with the lakeshore landscape and its lively nocturnal atmosphere. Suitable for adults.
