Founded in 2006, the Geneva Outa-no-kai Japanese choir presents a broad repertoire of Japanese songs, from traditional folk tunes to contemporary J-pop. Characterised by close harmonies and attentive phrasing, the ensemble explores the colours and rhythms of Japanese vocal music while adapting pieces for a community choir setting. Through collaborative performances at cultural events, the group seeks to connect audiences with the richness of Japanese melodies and vocal tradition.
