Swiss composer Yael Miller blends voice and analogue synthesizers to create an intimate, cinematic pop world. Inspired by superheroes and poetry, her latest album Fairuz (March 2025) explores the many faces of love — passion, romantic friendships, separation, pressures around motherhood and fleeting moments — through Hebrew, English and French vocals. On stage she weaves electronic textures with brass, drums and bass to evoke dreamlike, orientally inflected atmospheres. Opening acts: Laure Betris and Yann Hunziker reinterpret Swiss vocal traditions and endangered languages.

Dogfight is a musical set in 1960s America on the eve of young Marines’ departure for Vietnam. The plot follows Eddie Birdlace, whose cruel ‘dogfight’ gamble is upended when he meets Rose, an idealistic and sincere young woman. Over a single night, the production confronts themes of masculinity, violence and empathy, blending gritty social realism with moments of tenderness. Sparse staging and intimate musical numbers highlight a painful coming-of-age and the possibility of moral change.

Across a five-decade career she has brought her country’s rhythms and melodies to international stages, blending impeccable vocal technique with a commanding stage presence. Nicknamed ‘The Voice of Peru’ and ‘The Queen of Landó’, her work bridges tradition and contemporary interpretation, enriched by collaborations with leading Latin and world artists and recognized by a Latin GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award.

Marlène Charpentié conjures a strange papier-mâché garden in this hybrid performance that mixes theatre, clown and dance. Three figures — an obsessed drag-king, a heartbroken diva vampire and a queer Pierrot who tends fading, reviving flowers — share the stage without words. Between absurd humour and a critique of capitalism, the piece plays out like a cracked cabaret where material is worked live: objects are handled, transformed and revealed in a visceral, intimate exchange with the audience.
