Combining pagan folk traditions with modern electronics, Eihwar delivers a visceral Nordic folk set driven by shamanic drums and hypnotic chants. Signed to Season of Mist (home to Heilung and Danheim), the band has reached millions online and performed at major metal and folk festivals such as Hellfest, Wacken Open Air and Midgardsblot, and opened for The HU. Mira Ceti opens with a ritual-like duo performance, drawing on ancestral sounds and nature-bound mysticism.
Celebrating Chopin’s lyricism, passion and refinement, this festival presents a sequence of solo recitals, chamber concerts and a dedicated masterclass. Performers include pianists Paweł Wakarecy, Mertol Demirelli, Adam Kałduński, Krzysztof Wierciński and Mateusz Krzyżowski, alongside cellist Marcin Zdunik and the Quintette Éphémère. The programming favours intimate pacing and refined rubato, with attention to phrasing and tonal colour. Directed by Françoise Courvoisier, this production of Anton Chekhov’s Oncle Vania — translated by Arthur Adamov — assembles a committed ensemble (Vincent Bonillo, Pierre Dubey, Bérangère Mastrangelo, Patricia Mollet-Mercier, Clarisse Morizot, Pierre Omer, Juliana Samarine, Edmond Vuilloud) to explore love, the passage of time and illusions lost. The staging, created with scenographer Gilbert Maire and painter André Kasper, uses Rinaldo Del Boca’s lighting, Pierre Omer’s music and Nicolas Le Roy’s sound to evoke both the comedy and the terrifying humanity of Chekhov.

Told as a solo performance, this piece follows a woman as she remembers the films that shaped her life and blurs the line between cinema and memory. Through references to science-fiction sagas and cinematic archetypes — the woman-soldier, the survivor, the reluctant mother — the show probes identity, fear of change and the ways stories migrate from screen to skin. Sparse staging and intimate narration create a haunting, introspective atmosphere.

The Icelandic quartet ADHD presents their tenth album, ADHD 10, continuing an exploration between jazz, ambient, rock and folk. Simon Frith describes it as “a desolate quietude… Nordic, neither urban jazz nor rural folk.” Their immersive, sensory sound transcends genres, offering an intense concert blending new material with signature pieces. The group—Óskar Guðjónsson (saxophones), Ómar Guðjónsson (guitar, pedal steel, bass), Tómas Jónsson (piano, keyboards) and Magnús Trygvason Eliassen (drums)—creates spacious, contemplative textures that evolve into powerful, lyrical climaxes.
Emma Lamadji channels the spirit of Bob Marley in a luminous musical tribute that revisits the Jamaican legend’s most enduring songs — No Woman No Cry, Redemption Song and One Love. Her warm, expressive voice and subtle arrangements bring fresh emotional depth to familiar melodies, blending reverence and personal interpretation. The programme highlights themes of resilience, hope and unity, delivered with intimate staging and a focus on vocal expression.
For his final production as a theatre director, Jean Liermier revisits Tennessee Williams’s autobiographical classic about memory, longing and family. Set in the 1930s American South, the staging gathers a company around Laura, here embodied by Aurélia Thierrée, with Cyprien Colombo, David Gobet and Clotilde Mollet completing the ensemble. Liermier’s direction emphasises fragile interiors and poetic movement, offering a liberating, weightless atmosphere that balances tenderness and uneasy nostalgia.
