Performed by a deaf artist, this solo explores little-known connections between women and diverse tattoo cultures through a choreographic writing that rethinks sound and music. Tattooing becomes memory, mark and a bodily language, revealing stories previously unheard. The piece blends movement, visual composition and tactile registers to invite a different way of seeing and feeling, offering an intimate, embodied reflection on identity, memory and cultural traces.
Violencia Rivas is a brazen stage persona created by Léa Pohlhammer that channels a fictional Argentine yéyé singer claiming to have invented punk in the late sixties. On stage Pohlhammer and Adrien Barazzone form a combustible duo: she as the diva, he as her devoted companion. Julien Jaillot directs the actor work; Florence Minder collaborated on dramaturgy; Fernando de Miguel supplies music and sound while Pedro Saborido and Fernando de Miguel provide song texts. Une Simple Histoire is a tender musical tribute to the late Michel Bühler, celebrating his songs, poetry and humanism. Directed by Roland Vouilloz, the staging brings together Sylvie Bourban (voice) and Jean-Philippe Zwahlen (guitar) in an intimate duet that traces Bühler’s storytelling and travels. The programme weaves folk-inflected arrangements and poetic narration to evoke memory, solidarity and the quiet truth of ordinary lives.

Claudine (j’aime pas l’bonheur) is a re-creation by Marjolaine Minot that probes the ambivalence of happiness through intimate theatrical language. The piece blends restrained physicality and lyrical monologue to map memory, longing and domestic disquiet. Minimal scenic devices and attentive sound design carve spaces of emotion, while a small ensemble negotiates shifts between humour and melancholy. The production favours fragile gestures and precise rhythms to evoke an uneasy, poetic atmosphere.

Directed by Michele Millner and devised collectively by Théâtre Spirale’s Atelier 1, Three Queens examines feminine violence and power through fragments of Macbeth, The Seagull, The Caucasian Chalk Circle and new texts by participants. Spirale Workshops 1 and 2 showcase a thirty-year practice of transmission, research and intergenerational exchange. Under the direction of Michele Millner (Atelier 1) and Cathy Sarr with Patrick Mohr (Atelier 2), the project blends devised creation and collective laboratories. Atelier 1 develops a decolonial, antipatriarchal and radical laboratory that dialogues with figures such as Lady Macbeth and Nina. Participants include Marie Bondolfi, Yves Cerf, Mael Godinat and Jeanne Pasquier.

Celebrating its 43rd edition, AMR Festival gathers a constellation of jazz and improvised-music projects over five days, offering 27 concerts that range from big-band workshops and modern-jazz sessions to intimate improvised sets and family programming. Artists and ensembles explore spontaneity, collective listening and rhythmic invention, with programming that favours interplay and sonic risk.
