Quatuor Terpsycordes overturns chamber music conventions by forging a direct, living relationship with the audience. Combining boldness and sensitivity, the quartet moves fluidly through repertoire from pre-classical works to contemporary creations, searching constantly for balance between tradition and freedom. Their Haydn cycle on period instruments and a recent album have crystallized this rigorous, inspired approach. Emergentia 2027 brings together the next generation of choreographers from Geneva and beyond in a two‑week festival of new performance and research. Conceived and produced by three Geneva organizations, the program juxtaposes site-specific creations, international residencies, open studios revealing works-in-progress, and embodied workshops and conversations.
