Tania Dutel “Brouillage”

Tania Dutel returns with a new fourth show that sharpens her observational wit into a daring theatrical experiment. Mixing stand-up energy with fragmented narrative and quicksilver timing, she probes miscommunication, identity and the chaos of modern intimacy. Minimal staging and precise rhythms magnify bursts of tenderness and corrosive humour, creating a performance that unsettles and delights. A compact, incisive evening from a fiercely original voice.

Performed by Ensemble Sinfonietta Bern in an intimate quartet formation, this programme reimagines The Four Seasons as a dialogue between Antonio Vivaldi’s vivid Baroque writing and Max Richter’s ambient-minimalist recompositions. Movements alternate and interweave, contrasting handwritten gestures with cinematic textures. The result is a seasonal journey of shimmering strings, suspended pulses, and sudden bursts of motion, offering both rustic charm and modern radiance. Bonus Richter pieces extend the soundworld into filmic and solo piano resonances, creating a deeply immersive listening experience.
