Her debut single, Would it be different?, reflects the raw emotions of a friendship breakup and highlights intimate storytelling and warm, nuanced vocals.

Mariés au premier ringard is a sharp, character-driven theatrical comedy that dissects the absurdities of modern relationships with warmth and irony. The staging favors close ensemble interaction, a lean scenography and precise lighting that underline shifting loyalties and comic misunderstandings. Moments of tenderness puncture the satire, inviting reflection on intimacy, identity and the small rituals of coupling. It balances humour and poignancy to produce a lively theatrical pulse.

Performed by Miss Nightmare, this magic show stages an uncanny “Final Exam” where the audience becomes the class. Through forbidden experiments, unsettling illusions and inexplicable phenomena, the performance probes fear, vulnerability and the limits of perception. Miss Nightmare manipulates the impossible with elegance and dry menace, supported by a spare set, moody lighting and a taut soundscape that sculpts tension. The experience is immersive and intimate, oscillating between wonder and disquiet as each trial exposes concealed uncertainties.

“Wasted Land” by Ntando Cele at the Maison Saint-Gervais combines song, music, dance, and multimedia to tackle the climate crisis. The performance shifts between dynamic and contemplative multidisciplinary sequences, highlighting the destruction wrought by fast fashion and the often hypocritical ecological responses, contrasting impoverished nations with Western powers.

10 – 11 June

Choreographed by Jeremy Nedd and featuring a new creation by Jolie Ngemi, this graduation programme brings together the young performers of La Manufacture’s Bachelor in Contemporary Dance. Nedd’s work probes racial and collective questions, exploring how communities form amid social and political tensions. The evening showcases ensemble pieces performed by the graduating cohort and framed by attentive technical support, offering a vivid, physical investigation of identity, belonging and shared resilience.
