Les Ressources Urbaines mark ten years with two days of community celebrations in Geneva. The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. Instruments are freely accessible and many performances are announced only on the spot, creating shared, inclusive musical moments that bring neighbours and visitors together.

Join the community to welcome the start of the polo season at a three-day international tournament. Teams and players from across Europe compete over a weekend of spirited matches and social gatherings. Each day features competitive games, field-side hospitality, seasonal dining, music, and relaxed open-air club ambiance. Visitors can meet players and members, share conversations in club lounges, and celebrate together at the finale with a prize-giving ceremony that honours sporting achievement and community spirit.

Lie down, close your eyes, and let soft stories carry you into a calm nap. Gentle voices and quiet sounds paint colorful scenes inside your head while you rest on a cushion or in a grown-up’s arms. Short audio tales drift like warm blankets, inviting imagination, safety, and rest. This soothing, inclusive moment brings story magic to children who prefer to listen, including those who are blind or have low vision, helping them discover new worlds as they sleep.

Search for tiny surprises hidden across rooms in this playful family visit. Follow bright colors, listen for whispers of stories, and crouch to spot secret shapes hiding in shadows and paintings. The guide points out curious details and invites children to notice textures, patterns, and colors, turning the museum into a lively treasure map to explore together.

Wednesday 3 June, 13:00

Explore the meadow to meet colorful butterflies. Spot vulcain, petite tortue, paon du jour and machaon as wings flicker in the sunlight. Observe how they sip nectar from flowers, land on petals and rest with bright patterns. Play simple games, look closely with binoculars, and stroll through grassy paths while listening to soft wingbeats and birdsong. Learn about their lives through playful observation and hands-on activities.
