The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

Listen closely as paintings come alive with sound. Hear the bear’s low growl, traders chatting about the day’s news, and horses’ hooves beating like distant drums. Follow the storyteller and imagine colors trembling, whispered conversations, and scenes that move in your head. Open your ears, ask curious questions, and discover small secrets hidden in brushstrokes. This family visit turns looking into listening, inviting imagination and playful discovery.

Creative workshops for children where they learn to make natural cosmetics—like fruity soaps and lip balms—using healthy, eco-friendly ingredients. These fun, hands-on sessions raise kids’ awareness of nature and ecology while letting them proudly take home their handmade creations.

25 April – 6 June

Learn and play chess in a lively, hands-on workshop for children and adults. Beginners will discover rules, pieces and basic tactics through games and exercises. Children are split into three groups by age and experience: 4–6-year-olds learn the rules; false beginners practise checkmates and tactical combinations; older kids build tactical awareness and strategic thinking. Adults receive practical coaching on openings and key themes, with guidance from Grandmaster Clovis Vernay. An exercise booklet is provided to every child.

Saturday 30 May, 14:30

Join Heavysaurus for a thunderous, dinosaur-themed metal adventure for the whole family. Children experience driving guitar riffs, pounding double bass drums and catchy singalong melodies crafted to excite young rock fans. The show balances powerful sound with accessible arrangements and playful stage spectacle — lights, balloons and confetti — designed for both little ears and seasoned metalheads. It invites imagination, movement and shared moments between kids and parents.
