Alain Riad presents an immersive exploration of image and sound through ink drawings and light-based atmospheres. His fluorescent, high-contrast drawings unfold in dreamlike, disquieting compositions that invite close contemplation. Complementing the visuals, Monome performs ambient–drone soundscapes built from slow, deep, enveloping textures, evoking white-noise and cosmic sensations. Together the works interrogate perception and the porous boundary between visible form and sonic presence, revealing how color, line and sustained sound reshape memory and spatial experience.

May 1972 is an exhibition dedicated to Salvatore Emblema (Naples, 1929–2006), bringing together works produced between the late 1960s and the early 1980s. Across paintings, sculptures and installations, Emblema refines a conceptual language that interrogates materiality, form and temporality. The presentation highlights his experimental use of found materials, assemblage and reductive gestures, situating these works within postwar Italian avant‑garde practices and the artist’s evolving exploration of spatial and epistemic limits.

The Tender Buttons exhibition offers a multidisciplinary exploration centered on buttons, delving into their identity and historical significance. Featuring over three hundred ceramic and glass buttons, the exhibition interacts with the museum’s works to highlight their role in both formal experimentation and socio-cultural narratives. The exhibition’s architecture evokes the commercial arcades of the 19th century, a pivotal era for button industrialization. Curated by Claire FitzGerald, the exhibition is supported by the Swiss Fashion Museum and showcases never-before-seen pieces from several prestigious collections.

Painter André Kasper revisits classical and contemporary traditions in a body of oil paintings, watercolours and works on paper shaped by extended stays in Rome. His canvases — landscapes, ruins and figurative scenes — favour composed structures and a luminous handling that anchors each work’s narrative. Accustomed to large formats, he has recently explored smaller, more impulsive studies that foreground colour purity and gesture. The exhibition reflects Kasper’s dialogue with Caravaggio, Corot and Flemish affinities while tracing personal and art-historical continuities.

Marie Ducaté presents Simultanés, an installation that transposes the spirit and traces of her studio into a theatre of objects. Combining ceramics, tracing paper, watercolor, textile and glass, the work sits at the intersection of pop culture and art history. The installation foregrounds a chromatic range from vivid colour to transparency and investigates the sensuality of materials, inviting close attention to texture, surface and the intimate relationships between form and materiality. Out of the Blue brings together Norwegian ceramicist Heidi Bjørgan and textile artist Kari Dyrdal in a sustained dialogue between ceramics and woven textiles. Bjørgan reworks familiar jug and vessel archetypes until they appear melted or imploded, using multiple firings and distinctive glazes to expose cracks, shifts and unpredictable reactions. Dyrdal examines memory, pattern and structure through handwoven, hand‑dyed pieces that marry traditional craft with digital processes, yielding tactile and conceptual depth.

Dany Gignoux (photographer) and poet Georges Haldas present a compelling dialogue between documentary photography and lyrical prose. The exhibition brings together photographs and written fragments that register everyday life in Geneva’s cafés, combining on-the-spot reportage with memory-infused “prose inspirée.” Through intimate black-and-white images and spare, evocative texts the works transfigure mundane scenes into poetic testimony, revealing social undercurrents and human tenderness. Archival materials frame this historic encounter between two generations of cultural chroniclers.
