Victor Delétraz’s solo investigates image and the moving body across past, present and future, probing the vulnerability of human pursuits and the tension between hidden and visible. Video interweaves with choreography, found objects, light, sound and text to create a fragmented, anachronistic structure where multiple voices, at once comic, cartoony, political and dramatic, collide. The presentation, framed within the festival C’est déjà demain, emphasizes exploration and the beginnings of artistic form.

It highlights figures commemorated in the urban fabric—political actors, artists and local personalities—through photographs, archival documents and works from the museum collection.
Combining historical records and visual materials, the show reconstructs the city’s transformations and collective memory, questioning how naming practices inscribe social values and local histories into everyday streetscapes.

Step into a vibrant universe where art, culture, and flavor intertwine. FAMA – King of Bissap invites you on a sensory journey inspired by the iconic West African hibiscus drink—known as bissap, often celebrated as a “royal elixir” for its deep color, refreshing taste, and cultural significance.

Through bold visuals and rich storytelling, the exhibition explores themes of identity, heritage, and transmission. Like bissap itself—both everyday ritual and festive symbol—FAMA’s work bridges tradition and contemporary expression, transforming familiar references into powerful artistic narratives.

Presented at Séries Rares, this exhibition offers a unique encounter between African-inspired aesthetics and contemporary art practices. Each piece resonates like a sip of bissap: intense, vibrant, and unforgettable.

More than an exhibition, FAMA – King of Bissap is an invitation to experience culture through color, memory, and emotion.

Natalia González Martín presents eleven new oil paintings on panel that extend her sustained engagement with still life. Drawing on the visual language of Baroque and Counter-Reformation masters such as Juan Sánchez Cotán and Francisco Zurbarán, the works turn toward the ritual of sobremesa — the suspended time after a meal — and consider it as a gendered social space. Set against tenebrist backgrounds, plates, fruit, glasses and fragments of bodies emerge to reorient still life from display and possession toward duration, relation and the often-invisible labour of togetherness.
