Yvon, a pre-cinema artist, leads this workshop introducing participants to 19th-century projection techniques and magic-lantern performance, with practical demonstrations and hands-on guidance.

Participants will design and create a short phantasmagoric show using fantascopes and hand-crafted imagery, exploring composition, timing and projection methods and presentation. The session examines narrative staging and visual effects that produce eerie and humorous atmospheres while connecting to 19th-century spectacle.

Ten years after Geneva’s Department of Public Education expanded commitments to inclusive schooling, this session examines how inclusion is experienced in everyday school life for pupils with disabilities. It explores where policies succeed or fall short and investigates collaborative practices between schools, families, support services and institutions. The discussion addresses practical cooperation, barriers to participation, and concrete strategies to translate policy into classroom practice and ensure inclusion becomes a lived, sustainable reality.

Evelyne Brügger, a certified art therapist, leads the workshops with support from Joëlle Mauris, a professional cellist whose music accompanies one session per cycle.

The sessions explore creative practices to support women living with endometriosis, PMS or menstrual pain, addressing emotional expression, body awareness and coping strategies. Participants investigate materials and processes to rediscover inner resources, share experiences, and develop ways to express and regulate sensations through art and sound.

A screening of Meloni Rising, which traces Giorgia Meloni’s rapid ascent and the normalisation of far-right politics in Italy, followed by a sharp debate asking how Europe can resist re-fascisation. Historians and activists unpack the forces hollowing out democracy—from attacks on civil rights to the erosion of the rule of law—through feminist, anti-racist and decolonial lenses.

Our Biodiversity: Memory game

This interactive memory challenge invites participants to test their memory while exploring practical ways to preserve biodiversity based on Geneva’s municipal strategy. Players match “before-and-after” images that illustrate individual and institutional actions, and each correct pair reveals concise information explaining the measure. The activity examines themes such as habitat restoration, species-friendly practices, urban greening and policy responses, helping participants understand the impact and rationale behind everyday and organisational conservation choices.
