Pop-ulaire — Saison Mosaïque

Led by singer George Beaver and musical director Zoé Jalabert, this concert brings together a pop‑rock band and a classroom orchestra. Performers include Matthieu Rouselle (drums), Enrico Chizzolini and Bastien Dériaz (electric guitars), Simon Tissot (bass) and a string and wind section featuring Guillaume Chambaud, Lucie Menier, Matthias Ernst and Marion Hugon. Through original compositions the programme fuses contemporary energy and classical technique, alternating raw electric textures with warm orchestral colours to create a jubilant, communal sound.

Now in its 28th edition, Voix de Fête gathers a chorus of francophone voices across nearly fifty concerts on a dozen stages. Leonardo García Alarcón and his Cappella Mediterranea, in collaboration with the GTG Ballet, present the opera-dance Castor & Pollux by Jean-Philippe Rameau. Rarely performed in its 1737 version, the work delves into themes of brotherly love and sacrifice amidst a war between two peoples. The show features renowned baroque artists, including performances by Reinoud van Mechelen and Andreas Wolf. Dance is woven into the core of the dramaturgy, highlighting the emotional and musical depth of Rameau’s composition.

Two chamber music masterpieces will be performed in an exceptional evening under the artistic direction of Sergey Ostrovsky and Noémie Bialobroda. The program features Dmitri Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet in G Minor and Franz Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major, showcasing talented musicians including Sergey Ostrovsky, Noémie Bialobroda, and Eva Kobor.

Performed by Camélia Acef and Youri Rebeko, La tête ailleurs is a light, comic musical about Norah, who can’t help hearing songs in her head whenever she tries to concentrate. The piece slides between Broadway-classic, funk, pop and tango, treating the intrusive melodies as a playful yet unsettling manifestation of the unconscious. The staging balances energetic numbers and intimate moments, probing memory and identity. The show was nominated at the 2025 Trophées de la Comédie Musicale (Best Book; Revelation Masculine for Youri Rebeko).

The Festival Voix de Fête brings together a captivating concert at Alhambra featuring Zélie, Luiza, and St Graal. Zélie’s raw and intense electro-pop blends power and vulnerability to convey deep emotions and desires. Luiza delivers a vibrant fusion of French and Brazilian influences, infusing her pop music with sunny rhythms and a sense of freedom. Meanwhile, St Graal sings of contemporary love with catchy melodies and heartfelt sincerity.

Organised by Alliance Créative, Double Jeu is an improvisation format built on strategy and subtle manipulation: each performer secretly receives a mission to coax a partner into a specific action without being noticed. Scenes cascade into comic chaos where every line conceals an intention, and performers juggle personal objectives against shifting group dynamics. The atmosphere alternates between playful mischief and razor-sharp timing, producing surprising twists and communal laughter.
