Pulse is an acrobatic uppercut where breath, rhythm and bodies fuse into a spectacular trance. Created by Cie Kiaï, the piece propels six acrobats into a rebounding space where the laws of gravity seem to dissolve. Set to a hypnotic musical pulse, the performers lift, collide and vibrate in unison in a vertiginous choreography. The staging privileges sensory intensity, blending physical virtuosity, rhythmic precision and immersive soundscapes to deliver a visceral, kinetic experience.
An intimate programme by five musicians that traces Portuguese song across centuries, from fervent 20th‑century folk to the ornate lines of Renaissance court singers. Led by vocalist Sofia Pedro and instrumentalists Tiago Simas Freire (flutes, cornet, bagpipes), Filipa Meneses (viola, rabel), Bor Zuljan (lute, guitar) and Rui Silva (adufe, pandeiro, bells), the performance blends rhythmic drive, modal melodies and delicate ornamentation.
