The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. Short activities encourage attention, bonding, and sensory discovery in a warm, rhythmic atmosphere.

6 – 22 March

“Cleopatra at Am Stram Gram” is a must-see show for audiences of all ages. Directed by Dan Jemmett and penned by Rémi De Vos, this production offers a fresh take on the Cleopatra myth, uncovering lesser-known facets of this historical icon. With an all-female cast, the play delves into her alliances, romantic entanglements, and her prowess in languages, mathematics, and philosophy, set against a backdrop of a male-dominated world. It’s a theatrical experience not to be missed!

7 – 15 March

Step through a wardrobe and embark on a magical adventure in Narnia. Four siblings discover a land of talking animals, mythical creatures and an endless winter ruled by the White Witch. Through vivid scenes and powerful storytelling, children witness courage, loyalty and sacrifice as Aslan leads the fight for hope. Performed by young actors, this stage adaptation blends striking visuals, movement and music to captivate the whole family.

Saturday 7 March, 11:00

Gather for a lively storytime filled with playful tales, rhythmic readings and interactive moments that spark imagination. Children will listen to colourful characters, practise listening skills, and respond with movement and simple actions. Sessions encourage curiosity, language development and shared laughter through short stories and songs. Activities are gentle and sensory, inviting little ones to explore sounds, rhythm and expression.

Saturday 7 March, 17:00

Choreographer Laurence Yadi presents a new creation for young audiences after a residency in Bali. This dance solo, titled “Silahkan” (meaning “please” in Balinese), invites audiences on a journey filled with humor, poetry, and emotion. The performance unfolds within a constantly transforming set where ordinary objects turn into something extraordinary. It reveals a magical world of tales inhabited by princesses, gods, demons, and warriors, exploring the wonders and mysteries of a distant journey.
