This powerful reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s masterpiece blends physicality and metaphysics, exploring the depths of human emotion and relationships through dance, in homage to Maurice Béjart’s enduring influence.
“État Sauvage” offers a theatrical experience where humor and discomfort intertwine. It follows two men, referred to as the One and the Other, who meet in a park transformed into a wild space, challenging violence and reason. The play delves into our inner barbarism and the delicacy of civilization through compelling performances, highlighted by intricate lighting and evocative music. Stéphane Jaubertie’s script is powerful and contemporary, crafting a disturbingly mesmerizing human tableau. The production has been awarded the first regional prize from Rhône-Alpes at the FESTHEA festival and closed the Avignon IF festival.

In its third edition, the event aboard the Bateau Genève invites professors from the ADEM for a vibrant celebration of world music and dance. The play “Contre-jour” delves into the validity of discourses between theory and lived experience, commitment, and expression. Created by Mathi and Margot Le Coultre, this debut from Cie « La Poudre à lever » delves into the topic of prostitution, drawing inspiration from Grisélidis Réal.

An hour of fleeting, intense moments unfolds in Boris Charmatz’s “10,000 Gestures”, presented in Geneva for the first time since its 2017 premiere. Each dancer performs a unique, unrepeatable sequence of 400 gestures — from singing and kissing to giving birth or leaping midair — creating a chaotic, ephemeral “anti-museum” of choreography. A jubilant and nostalgic swirl of memory and disappearance, no two audience members will witness the same performance, but all will remember it.
