To mark the 300th anniversary of Giacomo Casanova, the MAH presents a major exhibition on this iconic 18th-century figure. Seducer, adventurer, writer, and traveler, Casanova left his mark on Geneva through his encounters with Voltaire. Rare manuscripts and objects trace the captivating journey of a libertine in Calvin’s city.

Convergent Lines at Galerie L’Appartement showcases a dynamic blend of expressive canvases by Mariana Oushiro alongside pieces by Jojo Corväiá, Maarten Vrolijk, and Marius Ritiu. In a world facing crises, it seeks to reimagine our connections with life, matter, and time through the lens of dreaming. The artworks blend dream and wonder, reviving ancient and intuitive knowledge to offer an expanded consciousness. Here, dreaming becomes a gentle yet profound commitment, a gateway to other worlds.

The exhibition invites you on a journey through anatomical models, casts, waxworks, and illustrated antique books. Modern tools like microscopy, medical imaging, and 3D printing uncover the inner workings of organs, currently utilized by medical students at the University of Geneva. This is a collaboration with the University of Geneva. Some images may not be suitable for younger or sensitive audiences.

2 June – 24 December

Every month, the Botanical Garden showcases a treasure from its collections through an audio commentary, accessible both at the library and on social media. These gems, which include engravings, rare books, objects, or archival letters, are enriched with insights from a librarian or archivist.

22 May – 30 November

Delve into biodiversity and reflect on our role in its preservation within the heart of the garden. This journey, enhanced by Geneva’s Municipal Biodiversity Strategy, features brief texts displayed on veils designed to educate the public. The program also includes discussion walks, a memory game, and a series of podcasts focused on biodiversity.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the food bank Partage, the traveling exhibition “Au fil des pommes” unfolds in Geneva. Local illustrators creatively transform apples to symbolize solidarity. At the Bastions Library, explore “Food Party” by Geneva-based illustrator Soreo/Sofia Rodriguez, presenting vibrant and expressive foods in a joyful tribute to nourishment.
