Highlights include Puccini’s Madame Butterfly, Rossini’s The Italian Girl in Algiers, Gershwin’s An American in Paris for the holidays, and ballets by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and Damien Jalet. The evening continues with a screening of Sofia Coppola’s cult film Lost in Translation, where Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray drift through a Tokyo as disorienting as it is poetic. Picnic and a warm blanket are recommended.

The Léman Bouquet Festival, founded by Ágnes Havas, merges music, cycling, and gastronomy along the shores of Lake Geneva. Stretching between the communes of Haute-Savoie and those in French-speaking Switzerland, participants embark on a four-stage cycling journey, complemented by diverse music performances. This festival champions responsible cycling tourism and international cultural cooperation while celebrating local culture and environmental preservation.

15 June – September

Settle into a deckchair by the lake and soak up the laid-back vibes of La Chaloupe à Vapeur, a beloved summer spot in Geneva’s international district. Every Sunday, enjoy live music spanning blues, chanson, reggae, and more—perfect for a lazy afternoon in the park. With tapas, stunning lake views, and a diverse crowd, it’s a true local gem. In case of rain, the concerts will be postponed!

Sunday 27 July – Boss’Y: a sunny musical journey through jazz and bossa nova.

27 – 29 June

Tous à la Plage (TAP) takes over the Canopée on Quai Gustave-Ador for three free open-air evenings of music, ranging from Latin beats to classical melodies and bold brass sounds. Set against the stunning backdrop of the lake, Geneva’s local musicians and a festive summer atmosphere promise the perfect way to kick off the season.
