Spanning more than forty venues, it offers around fifty events showcasing both national and international artists. The festival invites audiences to explore current cultural trends and engage with diverse artistic perspectives.

Villa Bernasconi is transformed into a poetic labyrinth with the project “Chambres d’échos.” First presented at the Avignon Festival 2022, this collective showcases contemporary Arabic poetry. Performers Soukaina Habiballah, Carol Sansour, Hend Jouda, and Rasha Omran, hailing from Morocco, Palestine, Syria, and Gaza, give voice to personal and poignant themes. The event is enriched by musician Neda Joukar, a târ specialist, who provides musical interludes.

The dreamy and enigmatic pop of Geneva-based band Magic & Naked, inspired by the 60s and 70s, returns to the stage after a four-year break with intriguing new tracks. Opening the event, Zurich artist Palinstar will introduce her new album “Backtrain Places,” blending haunting rock and comforting folk, highlighted by her sensual voice and inventive melodies. A must-see for a truly unique musical experience.

9 – 21 September

Under the glow of a streetlamp, two students await an interview with Grisélidis Réal, set as part of their final studies. In a Beckett-inspired setting, they encounter sex workers, challenging their preconceptions. The play “Contre-jour” delves into the validity of discourses between theory and lived experience, commitment, and expression. Created by Mathi and Margot Le Coultre, this debut from Cie « La Poudre à lever » delves into the topic of prostitution, drawing inspiration from Grisélidis Réal.

Spanish choreographer Tamara Alegre brings together dancers and Jamaican DJs at the Pavillon for an unrestrained and festive celebration of dancehall. Originating from the vibrant neighborhoods of Kingston, this cultural and political movement will be represented by Dynamic Legends, Happy Feet, Miss Rose, Shanky Equanoxx, and DJ Pappi. Through their music and dance, they will express joy, anger, and pride, turning the stage into a lively and unifying dance floor.
