A poetic and intimate performance that moves away from traditional circus spectacles focused on acrobatics. Blending elements of commedia dell’arte with the absurdity of Waiting for Godot, the show follows father and son, Danny and Pepijn, as they navigate memory, absence, and connection. Rich in music, clowning, and humor, the piece creates moments of grace and sensitivity, reflecting on tradition, relationships, and the world around them.

1 – 17 October

Léa Pohlhammer brings Orlando to life in a monologue adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s renowned novel. This performance weaves storytelling, music, and direct audience engagement to delve into themes of interpretative freedom, identity, and femininity. Featuring a minimalist set and lighting inspired by William Turner, it challenges social norms and explores our relationship with gender, employing quotes from the novel, humor, and personal anecdotes.

Eduardo De Filippo’s “The Art of Comedy,” directed by Nalini Menamkat, is a satirical comedy that delves into the nuances of power and cultural influence. By intertwining political intrigue with the theatrical flair of commedia dell’arte, the play blurs the line between reality and fiction, humorously celebrating artistic and cultural recognition.
