Led by Yiannis Ploutarchos with Katerina Kakoseou, this concert frames Greek song in a tapestry of nostalgia and Mediterranean warmth. Musical curator Tzimas Nikolaos shapes arrangements that let Ploutarchos’s warm voice and Kakoseou’s radiant timbre converse with a tight ensemble: Yiorgos Retikas (guitar), Michail Papadakis (piano/keys), Athanasios Petrelis (bouzouki), Stylianos Alexopoulos (bouzouki), Ioannis Karakasidis (percussion), Konstantinos Stilpnopoulos (bass) and Iasonas Ktenas (violin). The program balances tradition and contemporary flair, weaving intimate moments and driving rhythms into an emotionally resonant evening.
In early January 2022, two construction vehicles belonging to a Swiss multinational were set on fire at a gravel pit in the Geneva countryside. Over a year later, a young man — referred to as Jérémy — was arrested and suspected of involvement in the arson.
