This seminar explores how global patterns of militarism, economic austerity, and moral repression operate in sync, forming a deliberate and strategic system of violence that disproportionately targets feminist and queer movements. As states and corporations deepen repression and extraction, gender and sexual panics often flare in tandem, raising urgent questions about how the language of protection and security conceals broader structures of domination. Bringing together activists and scholars, the event opens space for critical reflection and marks the beginning of a wider conversation to continue in the fall.
