On their 32nd international tour, Tango Jazz Quartet blends Argentine tango melodies and rhythms with jazz harmony and improvisation. Their repertoire traces a path from traditional tango to Astor Piazzolla’s compositions, delivered with the ensemble’s improvisational freedom. Led by Gustavo Firmenich (saxophone and clarinet), with Horacio Acosta (piano), Enzo Villar (double bass) and Ezequiel Vargas (drums), the quartet balances lyrical intensity and rhythmic drive to create an intimate, danceable soundscape.
