Join us for a special climate evening at the Maison de la Paix featuring a screening of “Blue Carbon,” a film by Nicolas Brown, narrated by Jayda Guy and including Seu Jorge. This documentary delves into the oceans’ potential to absorb carbon. After the screening, engage in a roundtable discussion with the winners of the Young Activists Summit 2025: Rena Kawasaki, Dev Karan, and Marina El Khawand. Moderated by Ioana Popp, the event is organized in partnership with the FIFDH and the Geneva Graduate Institute.

Join Alice Zeniter at the  Bibliothèque de la Cité for the Festival Les Créatives, where she will discuss her novel “Frapper l’épopée.” The novel delves into themes of exile, memory, and diverse identities in New Caledonia, while dissecting the colonial legacy of the 19th century. The conversation will be moderated by Anne Pitteloud, journalist at Le Courrier.

The FILMAR festival presents “El fin de las primeras veces” by Rafael Ruiz Espejo, a Mexican fiction film lasting 76 minutes. It follows 18-year-old Lalo as he leaves his village for Guadalajara, discovering urban life through parties, encounters, and new experiences, all while exploring his sexuality and sense of freedom. This film is a tribute to the courage of embracing one’s true self and will be screened at Cinémas du Grütli in collaboration with Geneva’s Equality-Diversity center. One screening will include a discussion with Dialogai.

Rock on Stage Classic is an event offering musicians of all skill levels the chance to perform on stage, guided by André Schmid, the former lead singer of the Geneva band Ça va chier. Participants can perform solo, with their own accompanists, or be supported by a team of professional musicians.
