This evening invites attendees to relive the history of Servette FC, a club born in a vibrant Geneva neighborhood, representing sporting excellence with international aspirations. The event uses rare archives and testimonies to trace the club’s significant milestones, from triumphs to setbacks, while highlighting the rise of women’s football through Servette-Chênois. Organized in collaboration with several institutions, including RTS and the Geneva Library.
After briefly pursuing medical studies, Cédric Sapin-Defour became a physical education teacher. Driven by a love of words and exploration literature, he has written for publications such as Libération and Alpes Magazine, as well as books including Gravir les montagnes est une affaire de style (Guérin, 2017), Espresso (Guérin, 2019), and L’art de la trace (Transboréal, 2020).
