Sing Together Workshop

Sing and listen in a playful workshop led by a professional opera singer. Children discover the secrets of singing through games, breathing exercises, and short songs. They practice matching pitch, shaping phrases, and blending voices while moving to rhythms and exploring bright and warm tones. Simple activities with clapping, echoing, and group pieces boost confidence, attention, and creativity, helping each child find their voice in a joyful musical atmosphere.

17 March 2025 – 1 September 2026

The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

11 January – 12 April

Aboriginal artists convey their appreciation for nature through their paintings, depicting landscapes, plants, animals, and ancestral beings. Explore this captivating world with your family!

24 February – 17 April

Join creative holiday workshops where children explore music and singing through stories and hands-on activities. In one cycle, participants discover baroque sounds and the myth of Castor and Pollux while meeting early-music instruments; in the other, they begin singing with a lyric vocalist and prepare a short recital. Sessions blend listening, movement and simple musical games to spark imagination and teamwork, encouraging curiosity about sound, story and performance.

10 December – 15 April

Help a friendly witch who has lost her magic and needs children’s help to bring it back. Through short sung scenes and playful piano accompaniment, little ones discover melodies by Purcell, Offenbach, Mozart and Grieg, sing simple refrains and take part in interactive musical games. The show is brief and hands‑on, encouraging imagination, listening and movement, and ends with a short questions‑and‑answers moment with the performers. Organised by the Grand Théâtre de Genève.
