Francesco Piemontesi will perform Beethoven’s Concerto No. 4 alongside Renaud Capuçon and the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra at Geneva’s Victoria Hall. The program also features Mozart’s Serenade No. 7 in D major, originally commissioned for the marriage of the Haffner family’s son. This eight-movement serenade highlights the solo violin beautifully. Beethoven’s Concerto No. 4, premiered the same night as his fifth and sixth symphonies, is renowned for its originality and distinctive Beethovian duality.
