Re:Make Design Project

Free, Booking Required

Re:Make highlights transformation. Using reclaimed furniture and materials, each designer is invited to create a unique object. These objects must engage with contemporary work practices—such as deep work, well-being, collaboration, performance, hospitality, conviviality, creativity, and social interaction. Each creation must serve a specific function. The project aims to bring together: a low-tech, sustainable approach; an exploration of new ways of working; an aesthetic of transformation. Designers are invited to conceive objects for contemporary workspaces that foster new behaviors or interactions, while being resource-efficient and intelligently manufactured. Re:Make embodies the idea that a desirable future can emerge from what already exists—through creativity, collaboration, and the reimagining of how things are used.

A project in collaboration with La Renfile and Onl’fait.

Opening: 29 October, 17:00

Humanitarian, by Design? explores the often-overlooked role of design in humanitarian action, from objects and emergency shelters to maps, images and digital technologies. Bringing together nearly 200 objects—most presented to the public for the first time—the exhibition examines how design shapes the way crises are experienced, managed and represented. Across three perspectives—objects, spaces and imaginaries—it reveals both the creative potential and the tensions embedded in humanitarian design. A multidisciplinary exhibition that questions how design can support care, dignity and resilience in times of crisis.

Skateboards belong in museums too. Pulp68 traces skate culture from the 1950s to today through boards, graphics, objects, books, and stories collected over decades. Raw, personal and refreshingly far from the white-cube museum experience.

18 September – 31 October

German artist Olaf Holzapfel presents a body of work that quietly investigates landscape, architecture and vernacular traditions. Working across sculpture, drawing, painting and installation, he foregrounds materiality and craftsmanship, transforming humble materials into structures that mediate between nature and the built environment. The works trace textures of memory and labour, proposing subtle dialogues between form and site. The exhibition emphasises process and making, inviting sustained attention to material relationships and artisanal techniques.

Even if you’re not a watch person, this might change your mind. Around 2,500 watches, automata, precious objects and enamel miniatures chart five centuries of watchmaking, from extraordinary early timepieces to Patek Philippe creations. Geneva craftsmanship at its most meticulous.

18 September – 7 November

Artist Lou Masdurand presents a recent body of work that interrogates memory and materiality through layered painting and sculptural assemblage. Using oil, collage and found materials, Masdurand builds textured surfaces and precarious forms that record time and erosion. The exhibition examines thresholds between private recollection and shared history, privileging tactility, repetition and subtle ruptures in composition. Works demand sustained attention, inviting viewers to consider processes of making as traces of cultural and personal narrative.
