His remarks will be followed by a discussion with Kenneth Roth, visiting professor at Princeton University and former executive director of Human Rights Watch, exploring democratic resilience ahead of the US midterm elections. The programme also includes introductions by the Freedom Cartoonists Foundation and the presentation of the 2026 Kofi Annan Courage in Cartooning Award.
