Swiss artist Jean-Philippe Kalonji presents a sensitive series of portrait drawings that probe identity, memory and human presence. Working mainly with graphite and water-based media, he renders subtle gestures and gazes that bridge inner life and outward expression. The works range from intimate, near-figurative studies to more spare, contemplative surfaces, employing contemporary drawing techniques to question how portraiture reveals emotion and history. The exhibition invites deliberate, close looking at the human figure.

This exhibition pays tribute to Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri, a seminal figure of Australian Aboriginal art and a pioneer of the Western Desert painting movement. Drawing on Dreaming stories and the ancestral landscapes of his Anmatyerre heritage, Possum translated traditional sand and body painting motifs into monumental canvases that intertwine myth, geography and memory. His richly patterned, large-scale works balance Indigenous cosmology with a striking sense of modern abstraction, affirming his lasting influence on global contemporary art.

Opening during the Nuit des Bains, Thursday 22 January, from 18:00.

23 January – 30 April

London-based artist Konstantina Krikzoni presents a body of paintings born from an intense solitary studio practice. Her work blurs painting and sculpture: textured, tactile canvases where brushwork and sculptural modelling interweave. Silent yet confrontational female figures occupy compositions in grey and yellow, evoking funerary motifs and the logic of memory and grief. ARMATURA functions as metaphor and method — an internal armature of endurance that shapes emotion into form through material exploration and sustained process.

22 January – 7 March

Valse Velue brings together Jessy Razafimandimby and Cathy Josefowitz in a cross-generational dialogue that juxtaposes performative practice with a body of studio-based works. The presentation combines live and time-based actions with constructed objects and window-front pieces by Tito Honegger and Nicolas Ponce. Through movement, improvisation and attentive materiality, the exhibition interrogates presence, memory and the afterlives of artistic gestures. Curatorial framing highlights exchange, contingency and how ephemeral performances resonate alongside durable artifacts.

Opening Thursday 22 January, from 18:00.
