Mazzika Orchestra is bringing “Nuits d’Orient et du Maghreb” to the Alhambra. This exceptional concert pays tribute to the timeless icons of Oriental and Maghreb music, featuring solo vocalists, powerful choirs, and talented musicians. For its first Christmas programme, Les Ondes invites audiences on a musical journey through the rich British tradition of Christmas Carols with Peace on Earth, at St Pierre Cathedral in Geneva. Blending a cappella works with organ-accompanied pieces performed by Margot Boitard, under the direction of Léonie Cachelin, the programme spans centuries of sacred and popular heritage and features the luminous Peace on Earth by American composer Amy Beach, whose message remains profoundly relevant.
