An afternoon of play and creativity for children: continuous cardboard puppet-making, short theatre workshops for older kids, and free access to creative materials and board games. Children explore storytelling, craft colourful puppets, and try simple acting exercises that spark imagination and confidence. A small bar offers refreshments. Activities run without registration and are open to families with young children.

Enter a living rainforest through film and live sound. Watch Kéria and her cousin Selaï as they care for a baby orangutan and face the loss of their ancestral forest. Live percussion and bird songs weave with recorded chirps, water and wind to shape the scene. Short musical bursts and soft calls make you feel the trees, the hush and the movement. The story mixes adventure and tenderness while inviting curiosity about nature and where we belong.

17 March 2025 – 1 September 2026

The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

28 January – 8 February

Follow a tender little creature who, having fallen from its nest, must learn that soft fur won’t let it fly and that its path lies on the ground. Braving seasons and elements, it walks step by step through encounters both hostile and kind, discovering its place in the world. The journey unfolds within a mechanical storytelling stage: a moving conveyor, dreamlike landscapes and chimera characters create poetic, animated tableaux that feed this curious hero’s adventures.

31 January – 1 February

The Art Genève “Family” tour offers a playful and interactive introduction to the fair, specially designed for children. Accessible and welcoming, this introductory visit invites young and old alike to explore a rich universe of artworks from diverse backgrounds and major 20th-century movements, with a focus on pieces that encourage imagination, play, and creative expression.

“Porter la Netela” is a workshop for women and girls, led by Ethiopian artist Kidist Degaffe. Discover the art of wearing the netela and expressing your personality through Ethiopian attire. An Ethiopian aperitif will be offered at the end. Kidist Degaffe, an artist committed to women’s and children’s rights, shares her passion and expertise in this engaging session.
