Meanders

“Meanders” is a performance by Justine Ruchat that offers a poetic and dreamlike journey through the world, depicted in seven scenes. Their intense relationship exposes Jacques’ anxieties and fantasies, driven by his fear of inadequacy. This novel, adapted for the stage for the first time, delves into the taboos of andropause under the direction of Valentin Rossier. The production creatively incorporates video, lighting, and music, ensuring a captivating experience.

This performance is part of the Scène Vagabonde Festival.

“Carafes” is an absurd comedy in 13 scenes, featuring characters navigating the discomforts and small annoyances of everyday life. The humor emerges from awkward silences, mishaps, and moments of losing control, providing a humorous take on those universal instances where one is left “high and dry.”

AMR Jazz Power is coming to the Alhambra, offering a captivating blend of live music and film. This film, a culmination of years of effort, delves into the vibrant world of AMR through interviews and musical experiences. The group “We Don’t Care About…” will bring a fresh twist to classic South African tunes alongside their original compositions.

Aime Lady M. offers a contemporary twist on Lady Macbeth, delving into a confined setting where guilt, manipulation, and appearances intertwine. M., facing a potential life sentence, navigates life between her cell and the laundry where she works. Portrayed as a victim, her true nature remains unsuspected. Compagnie Ligne 46 tackles the dramatic victim/perpetrator/savior triangle in a timeless staging, complete with grotesque and captivating twists, exploring the ambiguous realm of human conscience.

Join seven young actors, newly graduated, as they share their personal journeys and motivations for stepping onto the stage.
