A whole Sunday of eclectic Afro-soul jazz. Come celebrate the Fête de la Musique in the old town with Maquis DéKalé and its program that promises to get you dancing.
Over three days, a local conservatory opens for a diverse Fête de la musique programme that explores jazz, chamber music, orchestral classes, electroacoustic creations, opera fragments, percussion, guitar, strings and pop-rock workshops. Performances range from intimate recitals to ensemble pieces, highlighting emerging students and guest artists. The programme is designed for all audiences, offering varied atmospheres from contemplative listening to rhythmic celebration, and showcasing both tradition and contemporary experimentation.
On a triple bill by the Ballet Junior de Genève, three new works unfold: Yuval Pick’s Revoada, Émilie Leriche’s sad game and Sharon Eyal & Gai Behar’s Untitled Black. The company moves with collective intensity, shifting between taut physicality and lyrical surges. Pick teases singularity through vibrant movement, Leriche propels the dancers into precise, breathless lyricism, and Eyal/Behar impose a hypnotic, technically demanding finale. The evening is charged, communal and viscerally alive.
For the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival), we invite you to join us all weekend to enjoy a friendly atmosphere, live concerts, and our seasonal cuisine. Reservations recommended: +41 22 753 17 55
Ghost*choir stages a hybrid live set where immersive video projections merge with live music. The project brings together Chaos Clay and Son Archipel Sonore in a ritual-like closing of the exhibition curated by Ghalas Charara and Rita Elhajj. The performance blurs genres — from house rhythms to filmic fragments and spoken-text samples — forming a living archive of recordings, images and sampled materials. The atmosphere alternates between hypnotic groove and cinematic dissonance, inviting collective listening and reflection.
Since its first edition in 1992, this free popular festival celebrates music and encourages everyone to make and enjoy it. It showcases the musical diversity of the greater Geneva area through performances by professional and amateur artists, schools and cultural institutions, plus community projects and co-productions. The program brings neighbours together across stages and styles, offering a friendly space for shared listening, participation and discovery.
Planète Rouge returns with an immersive celebration of music, bringing together live performances, DJ sets, and its signature Face2Face sessions across two of Geneva’s most iconic cultural venues. Blending emerging talents and established artists, Planète Rouge creates a vibrant atmosphere where discovery, connection, and dance take centre stage, transforming the city into a dynamic meeting point for music lovers and celebrating the unifying spirit of contemporary live culture.
