The OCG Celli Quartet — Pascal Michel, Dan Sloutskovski, Coralie Devars and Delphine Gosseries — moves from the Romantic repertoire to contemporary sounds, weaving together Brahms, Fauré, Piazzolla and Schumann with unexpected references to ABBA, Apocalyptica and film music. The result is an intimate, lively performance shaped by contrast, colour and shared musical play.

Xavier Guelfi presents an intimate solo performance in which he embodies a clumsy, naive coach of happiness. Raised near Onex and known for film and stage roles, Guelfi greets the audience from a kitchen transformed into a timeless cocoon. With poetic physicality and Arlequin-like charm, he mixes gentle humour and existential reflection, inviting the public to dream and to reclaim faith in humanity. A suspended, comforting utopia that soothes and amuses.

Directed by Marie-José Malis, Retour au pays revisits Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s letters through a spare, lucid staging. Performers Alexandra Tiedemann and Juan Crespillo inhabit the returning merchant’s disorientation, while Aurélia Ansermet provides live music and sound. Bernard Héritier’s scenography and Jessy Ducatillon’s lighting shape moments of visual surprise, most poignantly a Van Gogh encounter that restores belief in the world. The piece refuses facile answers, offering theatrical lucidity and an austere emotional clarity.

8 October – 14 November

Told as a solo performance, this piece follows a woman as she remembers the films that shaped her life and blurs the line between cinema and memory. Through references to science-fiction sagas and cinematic archetypes — the woman-soldier, the survivor, the reluctant mother — the show probes identity, fear of change and the ways stories migrate from screen to skin. Sparse staging and intimate narration create a haunting, introspective atmosphere.

Directed by Rebecca Stella and adapted with Danielle Barthélemy, Cendrillon blends classic fairy-tale drama with manga-inspired staging. Pili Loop’s original score, Mathieu Courtaillier’s lighting and the set by Camille Ansquer shape a vivid, contemporary universe. Costumes by Alice Toutev and Sonia Bosc and choreography by Léon add playful movement and character. Anthony Surleraux’s video projections and graphics expand the tale’s visual world, pairing tradition with modern theatrical textures.

Created and performed by Elina Kulikova and Dima Efremov, TRILOGIE DE LA GUERRE interweaves three musical-performance pieces responding to exile, the war in Ukraine and repression in Russia. Kulikova’s chapters evoke classical and folk song, transforming lament into a ritualised, sensory mourning; Efremov’s contribution uses sound art and electro textures to shift perspective and map clandestine networks of resistance. Together the trilogy forms a compact dramaturgy of intimacy, unease and fragile hope, immersive and politically charged.

29 October – 31 December

La Revue Genevoise returns for its 134th edition, blending sharp satire with music, dance and theatrical sketches. A lively ensemble navigates topical scenes that mix wit and social critique, supported by inventive choreography, musical arrangements and fluid staging. The production alternates fast-paced comedy and reflective moments, offering a polished, communal portrait of contemporary Geneva life told through song, movement and comic timing.
