A creative project featuring encounters between six emerging performers and seasoned choreographers, resulting in six solo pieces that delve into intergenerational dialogues through varied artistic disciplines. “Fanfaron” by Thibault Lac and Collin Cabanis offers a melancholic reflection on the memory-laden remnants of a vagabond performer. Meanwhile, “After the silence [conversation with Vivian Maier]” by Delphine Hecquet and Clémentine Le Bas immerses itself in the world of the enigmatic photographer Vivian Maier, exploring her perspective and posthumous works. Listening to Nina Simone’s voice through her headphones, McFadden sings and mimics her songs and powerful speeches, offering the audience a deep connection to the artist’s emotions and insights, while allowing Simone’s voice to resonate within her and move the audience profoundly.
La Bâtie-Festival de Genève is a multidisciplinary festival in the Geneva region, featuring a vibrant mix of music, dance, theater, and performances over 18 days. Spanning more than forty venues, it offers around fifty events showcasing both national and international artists. The festival invites audiences to explore current cultural trends and engage with diverse artistic perspectives.
Imagine a captivating melody leading you along a flower-lined path, eventually drawing you into a dense forest. Outdoors, surrounded by lush greenery, the audience experiences music performed in solo, duo, or trio formats. Guided by this enchanting melody, attendees are then led into a hall where the orchestra performs Robert Schumann’s nine forest scenes, set in a magical forest atmosphere enhanced by luminous creations by Sophie Le Meillour.
Jeanne Spaeter introduces a unique concept: a romantic relationship structured by a contract with 14 clauses and a trial period of 365 days. Documented and shared on Instagram with the hashtag #relationamoureusedequalité, the project features Mike, the chosen candidate. On stage, the audience participates by selecting objects, asking questions, voting, and sharing laughs. This performance challenges perceptions of love while providing entertainment.

The Variations Musicales de Tannay is an intimate classical music festival held each summer in the scenic park of the Château de Tannay, in the canton of Vaud.
