The Biopark is temporarily hosting Janus, a unique two-headed Greek tortoise, during the renovation of the Museum. Each head of this male tortoise has its own independent brain, which sometimes makes its movements challenging. In captivity, Janus receives attentive care, resulting in an impressive lifespan of 26 years.

7 April – 6 May

Explore nature through playful crafts, stories and hands-on games in a friendly creative space. Children discover leaves, textures, colors and simple natural objects, and they make small projects using movement, sound and bright colors. They will meet peers from different backgrounds, share ideas and try new ways to create together. The activities mix making, play and gentle challenges to spark curiosity, imagination and a sense of belonging.

25 April – 3 May

Featuring illustrations by Albertine, this performance celebrates the depth of childhood emotions through a captivating blend of song, storytelling, and visuals. Blandine Robin’s musical poetry, Albertine’s artwork, and Delphine Lanza’s direction come together to explore love in all its forms, including the affection for comfort toys. The result is a vibrant explosion of color accompanied by imaginative staging.

2 – 10 May

Follow Ugly, a plucky duckling who leaves the farmyard, meets quirky characters and discovers the value of being different in this witty, tuneful musical adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s tale. Student actors bring colourful characters to life with songs, movement and gentle humour, creating a warm family theatre experience that celebrates diversity, empathy and belonging.

Saturday 2 May, 16:30

Dive into an improvised musical where a magical wand sparks urban wonders. Spells mix with neon lights, ancient creatures meet odd machines, and every corner can hide a surprise. Songs, dance, and playful improvisation weave lively scenes. Hear bold rhythms, see bright colors and swift movements, and join the laughter as music turns moments into tiny spells. The show invites imagination, movement and curious discovery.

In French. Kids ages 7 and up.

25 April – 6 June

Learn and play chess in a lively, hands-on workshop for children and adults. Beginners will discover rules, pieces and basic tactics through games and exercises. Children are split into three groups by age and experience: 4–6-year-olds learn the rules; false beginners practise checkmates and tactical combinations; older kids build tactical awareness and strategic thinking. Adults receive practical coaching on openings and key themes, with guidance from Grandmaster Clovis Vernay. An exercise booklet is provided to every child.
